AIP CERTIFIED COACH DIRECTORY
Janice LaFontaine Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, AIP Certified Coach
Hello! I’m Janice LaFontaine, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and AIP Certified Coach out of the greater Seattle area. I work with moms who are motivated to make a significant change in their health through individualized nutrition and lifestyle management to reach their health goals. I firmly believe the foundation to all health starts here.
My personal autoimmune health journey has been with Graves’ disease and it’s what brought me here to help others in this community. An autoimmune journey can be a lot to navigate through. I’ve been through remission and flare ups, medication, alternative treatments, and debilitating symptoms such as dramatic weight loss, brain fog, adrenal fatigue, insomnia, hair loss, heart palpitations and more. Through all this, I experienced tremendous improvement and healing when adjustments to my diet, lifestyle and environment were made following a functional medicine approach where we uncovered the underlying causes of my Graves’ disease.
As a Certified AIP Coach, I will help guide you through the confusion, overwhelm and often times conflicting information that’s out there so you can experience autoimmune wellness for yourself. Together, we will find the root causes of your symptoms to help you on your way to autoimmune wellness.
As a mom of three, I realize the challenges we face when it comes to caring for our own needs while caring for the needs of those around us. The reality is, we cannot care for the needs of others very well when we are not well ourselves.
I want to encourage you that autoimmune wellness is possible, and I want you to experience it, too. We should all be able to experience health and vitality the way our lives were intended to be!

Hi. I’m Renee Andreasen, a Holistic Health Coach in Seattle, Washington. I have a virtual practice called Healthy Inspired You.
Your life is too precious to have chronic problems limiting your life. Let’s take charge and get you back to feeling energetic and inspired.
I believe in the power of AIP because of my own experience and how it’s helped my clients get their life back.
When I hit 40 I fell apart, couldn’t get out of bed and was on disability for 3 months. I found out that I had chronic Mono, parasites and Dysbiosis, Leaky Gut, Celiac and Hypothyroid. THIS was the reason for my almost life-long fatigue and anxiety. For years, Dr.’s told me I was “fine” but I didn’t feel “fine”. I realized that conventional medicine was not designed to help me and that I needed to take control of my health.
I found out about AIP from a book I saw on my friend’s shelf. I self-taught and implemented. It was hard and a major life overhaul, but it worked! At the time I didn’t know you could get a coach and would have if I understood how they could have helped me. Because of my own experience using the power of AIP I decided to become a Coach so I could help others simplify their healing journey.
I didn’t expect that my first major client would be my 12 year old son. Shortly after my health turnaround, he got diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. It was devastating. Now he was the one who could barely get out of bed.
So, again, I took charge. I assembled his team, became the boss of his healing and we got to work. By using my knowledge, training and experience we are able to manage his IBD through food and lifestyle as medicine.
Through my family’s experience and then those of my clients, I believe deeply in the body’s ability to heal given the right conditions.
I also partner with a Naturopathic doctor so you can get testing, a firm diagnosis, and supplement support if you don’t already have it. We’d love to help you.

Peaceful Greetings! I am Nichelle Alderson, a Holistic Healing Artist, providing psychotherapy, nutrition coaching and education. I am passionate about helping my clients achieve optimal health through bio-individual wellness and lifestyle plans, meeting them where they are at, and taking them where they want to go – by serving as a guide on a safe and supportive healing journey.
I offer a client centered and holistic approach that aims to bring to light the associations between diet, stress, family history, support systems/resources, life experiences, environment, and issues related to current and/or historical oppression, and how YOUR body, mind, and spirit have been responding.
I specialize in working with adult BIPOC (Black & Indigenous people of color) and their families with stress and blood sugar related issues including: autoimmune disorders, weight imbalances, chronic pain, adrenal fatigue, depression, anxiety, and ADD/ADHD.
In my early twenties, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and suffered from depression, ADD, and adrenal fatigue for many years. It took me years to fully understand what my body needed to restore balance. As a young single and Black mother, I just remember feeling overwhelmed with all of the advise, and just wished that I had someone to hold my hand and walk me through it all. I keep in mind while working with my clients.
I am credentialed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker; Certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner; Certified Auto-Immune Paleo Coach; and Certified Professional Life, and Holistic Health & Wellness Coach – trainings that have provided a well rounded and holistic approach to my work.
