Hi, I’m Stephanie Ulrich, a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and AIP Coach. I specialize in supporting clients living with autoimmune disease, food allergies/sensitivities, and a wide-range of digestive disorders including IBS and SIBO. I am passionate about empowering my clients to discover personalized ways to live well with chronic illness, focusing on a balanced and sustainable approach.

In 2019, I started my own healing with AIP after being diagnosed with EoE, Hashimoto’s, and UCTD. My experiences of living with multiple chronic illnesses and extensive food allergies encouraged me to start my blog, The Open Cookbook, as a space to share allergy-friendly AIP recipes and to reflect on my own experiences of living with chronic illness. I want to ensure no matter the dietary restriction, everyone feels included and can find joy in the kitchen again.

As an NTP, I believe in taking a gentle and balanced approach with individualized recommendations, resources, and tools. I like to remind clients that AIP is a “template” and that together, we can discover how to tailor it specifically for you. I always explain the “why” behind diet and lifestyle suggestions, encouraging and supporting you to find sustainable ways to live vibrantly with autoimmunity.

Were you or a member of your family recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and told to just eat gluten free? It’s not that easy! I’m here to help you navigate gluten-free living in all aspects of life and not feel so overwhelmed.

My name is Megan Harnish and I’m a health educator and personally live with autoimmune disease. After my elementary age son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease I became passionate about understanding as much as I could about nutrition, autoimmune disease and the role diet plays in the way the body functions. I learned how food sensitivities, the microbiome, and intestinal permeability contribute to the development of autoimmune disease and other chronic health conditions. Between my education, lived experience & being the parent to a gluten free child I can help make gluten-free life easier for you. Regardless of the reason you choose to live gluten-free I can give you the tools you need to help during the transition period and in the months to years following. I understand the psychosocial impacts of the gluten free diet on children and how it affects every aspect of their lives. I offer a free consultation to learn more about your needs and how I can help.

We all have unique challenges, and my approach is results-driven while also being down-to-earth, sensible and sustainable.

I am a beauty mentor. I take a holistic approach to skin beauty and health: through smart skin care, through proper nutrition, through nutraceutical support and a healthy lifestyle.
That is why I received the education of a cosmetologist, health-coach, specialist in functional integrative nutrition.
The autoimmune nutrition protocol for me is the path to a personalized diet that is right for each individual. By reducing the level of inflammation in the body, we heal, which means our skin is healed, and we look beautiful and young.

I found through my own journey with Hashimoto Thyroiditis that the autoimmune healing path can at times feel solitary. I work with clients individually and in groups, both locally in NYC and Stamford, CT, as well as virtually worldwide. Though I do have an increased focus of clients with needs regarding Hashimoto Thyroiditis, Adrenal Fatigue and pregnancy, I enjoy working with all clients on their autoimmune journey who are ready to take the next steps.

There is nothing better than having someone by your side that knows what you are going through, has already experienced it, can help guide you as well as teach you how to be your own best advocate for your healing path ahead.

Like many nutrition and health coaches, I was inspired by my own journey with autoimmune disease and the Autoimmune Protocol to become a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and a Certified AIP Coach. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2013 and Chronic Lyme Disease in 2018 after a lifetime of seemingly unexplainable digestive and immune symptoms. I found AIP a year after being diagnosed with UC and it quite literally changed everything about my life! It took me some time and troubleshooting to start seeing those life-changing results, but AIP ultimately led me to a life filled with healing, both personally and professionally.

One of the biggest tools that changed the trajectory of my health was learning how to advocate for myself and be the leader in my own healing journey. As a FNTP and Certified AIP Coach, I want to empower all people who desire to reclaim their wellness through nutrition-centered coaching. I will teach you the skills and tools you need to nourish your body and take control of your health while supporting you in reaching your wellness goals. I meet with clients virtually, through video and telephone calls, to meet you where you are making it easy and convenient. I can’t wait to walk your healing journey together!
