AIP CERTIFIED COACH DIRECTORY
Allison Drury Functional Nutrition Counselor and Certified Holistic Health Coach
Westlake Village, California
I’m Allison Drury, a Functional Nutrition Counselor, Certified Holistic Health Coach and AIP Certified Coach — your dedicated food and lifestyle technician when your body needs a reboot. Our bodies have the most amazing ability to rebound, restore, and fight… if we give them the tools to succeed. Whether you’re just dipping your toes in or are ready to jump into the full AIP program, I will help you succeed. We’ll map your symptoms, create a program, monitor your body’s Response to these changes, make Revisions and Relaunch. It’s all about the 3Rs — Response + Revise + Relaunch to get Relief. I’m with you every step of the way to make adjustments as you adopt these changes. As your coach, I support you when challenges arise and teach you how to 3R all by yourself. These are mindfulness skills you’ll use for life! I always create the least restrictive and easiest to maintain protocol that supports your healing. Through education and skills, I teach you how to incorporate these changes successfully into your lifestyle. My programs always consider your environment — whether that’s your office break room or your family dinner table — because you live in the real world, right? You’ll learn how to succeed in these situations and guess what, those around you may even get inspired to join you! I’ve been right where you are now and after living this anti-inflammatory lifestyle for several years, my autoimmune disease is well-controlled and I’m feeling better. I can’t wait to show you how well it works. Let’s start a conversation and see if it’s a good fit for you, too.

Welcome! I’m thrilled you are here and taking the step to look for a partner in your AIP Wellness journey. I found through my own journey with Hashimoto Thyroiditis that the autoimmune healing path can at times feel solitary. This is one of the many reasons I have become an AIP Certified Coach, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Restart Instructor – to help clients bridge that gap faster between diagnosis and what to do next to begin healing, feeling better and become empowered to transform their health.
With my certifications, teaching experience and decade of also working as a Wellness Coach focused on mindset related to individual health goals, I have the tools and know-how to help you accomplish you AIP goals and be there for you along the way.
I work with clients individually and in groups, both locally in NYC and Stamford, CT, as well as virtually worldwide. Though I do have an increased focus of clients with needs regarding Hashimoto Thyroiditis, Adrenal Fatigue and pregnancy, I enjoy working with all clients on their autoimmune journey who are ready to take the next steps.
There is nothing better than having someone by your side that knows what you are going through, has already experienced it, can help guide you as well as teach you how to be your own best advocate for your healing path ahead.
Everyone has their own bio-individuality and I’m ready to meet you where you are to help you move forward with your goals. Email me to share what you are hoping to accomplish and set-up a complimentary 15-minute call to discover how we may work together.
Amber Horn Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Sleep Coach, AIP Certified Coach
*Also Practices Virtually Worldwide
Hello! I’m Amber, a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist, Sleep Coach, and AIP Certified Coach.
I’ve been a part of the AIP world for the last 9 years when my husband and I implemented the AIP diet to use food to get to the bottom of his autoimmune disorder. It’s been a passion whirlwind ever since and I continue to work 1:1 with clients to get to the root cause of health issues for long lasting balance and relief. My focus continues to be on sleep, blood sugar imbalances, and stress. I’ve found over the years that these pieces play as much, and sometimes more, of a role in autoimmune disease and other health issues.
I’m here to help educate and empower my clients so they can make the best possible decisions for their health. When we know how our body responds to different inputs, we can use that information to make solid and empowered decisions about our bodies and health.
If you’re ready to start supporting your health from the ground up, then let’s get started!
Stacy Smith, NTP Functional Wellness Advisor
Hi – I’m Stacy and I’m here to guide you along the path to your best health. I’m a Certified Nutritional Therapy Consultant (NTC) through the Nutritional Therapy Association, AIP Certified Coach, and Functional Wellness Advisor. After being diagnosed with lupus and anti-phospholipid antibody syndrome in 2015, I was told repeatedly that dietary changes were irrelevant in the management of autoimmunity. My own experience couldn’t be more different, and led me to become a relentless proponent for the healing power of food. AIP has been instrumental in managing my own health, and I’ve been fortunate to see so many other autoimmune warriors have powerful and positive experiences of their own. Through my private practice, Viridis Wellness, LLC, I put my passion into action helping clients achieve their wellness goals through education, empowerment, accountability and positive, long-term, lifestyle changes. I specialize in wellness recovery with autoimmunity, connecting with nature, improving gut health, blood sugar regulation, holistic sports performance, autoimmune athletes and corporate wellness. My view is that wellness comes from addressing the whole person. I enjoy working virtually with long-distance clients as well as in-person with local clients, and offer a variety of group education programs. If you’re ready to take the first step towards your highest wellness and need a partner on your journey, let’s talk about where you want to go. Complimentary 15-minute discovery calls are available by request.

I support parents (and their families) with autoimmune and have a specific focus on rheumatic and digestive conditions.
AIP was incredibly helpful for my daughter during her healing journey with a rare rheumatic condition called CRMO (similar to JIA or RA). AIP was our first step to reducing symptoms so she could get out of doctor offices and back to school, sports, dancing and singing. She is why I became an AIP Certified Coach.
My focus today is helping women (and their families) restore energy, rebalance digestive issues and reduce inflammation so you can move more, laugh more and connect more with your loved ones.
I believe in a slow and steady approach to nutrition, and have several methods to support clients on their journey, like Reality Based Meal Planning because (as busy mom myself), I know solutions need to be simple.
I’m a certified nutritional practitioner who has 10 years of client experience, using a combination of functional and holistic nutrition.
Some additional credentials – I’m a professional advisor to the student clinic at The Institute Of Holistic Nutrition, I worked in an integrative clinic for 7 years and collaborate well with other healthcare experts. I hold a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition, along with a BA in Political Science & French, and I’ve earned additional certificates in Endocrinology and Nutrition, Fat Loss, Blood Sugar Balancing, Gut Health Mastery and other ongoing training. I am also a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners.

*Practices Virtually Worldwide
Hi, I’m Kim, a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Holistic Health Coach, Certified Health & Wellness Coach, AIP Certified Coach, and the founder of Salt n’ Sauna Wellness (voted Best of N. Atlanta for “Best Holistic/Alternative Medicine” & “Best Med Spa”). I’m here because everything went wrong, and had to figure out how to make everything right again, probably much like yourself. I specialize in autoimmunity, nutrition, and empowerment, along with practical, real-life approaches that it takes to be successful in any healing journey. I understand practical, as it’s the foundation of my daily life. I’ve been a single mom for 18 yrs to 3 amazing kids, my oldest is special needs, and I’ve always worked full-time.
My journey with Grave’s Disease & Celiac Disease helped me discover my immense passion to heal! My journey began by taking the medication for Grave’s Disease. A month later I was fighting for my life in the ICU, where I spent 13 days, 10 of those near death. The medication for my Grave’s Disease was killing me, literally. I was one of only a handful of people around the world to survive a case so severe. Upon leaving the hospital, my doctor gave me two choices, have my thyroid removed or die. I opted to follow my own path, and began the process of modifying my diet and lifestyle, detoxing my body, and anything needed to regain my health.
You can be healthy & vibrant living with chronic disease. It is possible! As a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, I use a holistic, functional approach to healing, troubleshooting, and discovering root issues. I’m here to help empower you to take back your health, learn to use practical approaches to modify your diet and lifestyle (most importantly sleep, stress, toxic relationships, exercise, & daily life), advocate for yourself, and empower you. There is power in learning to heal your body, and living a vibrant life with chronic illness…take yours back!
Maida Ference Nutritional Therapy Practitioner
Round Rock, Texas
*Also Practices Virtually Worldwide
My name is Maida Ference and I’ve been a practicing Nutritional Therapy Practitioner since 2018. My passion is empowering you to connect to your body, to help you discover the food and lifestyle choices that are obstacles to your best quality of life. We’ll address root causes, rather than treating symptoms. You can expect encouraging, non-judgmental guidance with respect to your health concerns, priorities, personality, history, and life circumstances. Making changes to your diet and lifestyle can be challenging, but it is all the more frustrating when the options you have tried are impractically restrictive to follow long-term. My goal is not only to help you feel great, but to do so in a way that is pleasurable enough to become your new way of living.
Arnell Caris, M Ed, INHC Integrative Nutrition Health Coach
My personal health journey has led me to the exciting field of health coaching. For years I suffered the effects of anemia, gastritis, Barrett’s Esophagus, fatigue, depression, and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. When traditional methods of treatment only alleviated some of my symptoms, I began searching for answers to the causes of my health condition. The Autoimmune Protocol transformed my health and well-being!
Now, I’m excited to educate and guide others in implementing this whole-body approach to addressing autoimmune conditions. I am here to simplify your transition into the protocol and empower you to face your situation with hope and confidence. My two Master’s Degrees in Education and ten years of counseling experience have proven to be great resources in my health coaching toolbox!
I look forward to supporting you on your health and wellness journey!

Hi! My name is Geri Baxter and I’m Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition (Candidate) as well as an AIP Certified Coach.
My passion for functional medicine began while trying to navigate my own health issues. Having a strong family history of autoimmunity sparked my curiosity in learning how to manage disease through a balanced life and optimal nutrition.

Kristen Matthews Nutritional Therapy Practitioner + Pilates Expert
*Practices Virtually Worldwide
My name is Kristen Matthews. I am a Pilates expert, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), and wellness advocate, committed to helping you create your own healthy lifestyle. I started my company with the intention of providing people with the tools they need to feel physically, emotionally, and spiritually balanced. My goal is to help you feel more empowered through knowledge and support in order to become the strongest version of you.
My nutrition journey began when I found myself confronting a new and intensified health challenge, brought on partly from extreme stress. I suffered from debilitating fatigue, barely making it up the stairs to my apartment, not having the energy to do the dishes, and even crying at times from exhaustion. It was accompanied by a number of digestive issues, ranging from GERD to bloating to constipation, as well as a chronic sore throat and mysterious body rashes.
Along the way, I was given band-aid fixes and looks that said, “not really sure what to tell you,” rather than definitive answers. To discover the root cause, I was going to have to be my own advocate, do extensive research, and educate myself about the body, disease, and nutrition.
This is exactly what I did. In my case, the explanation was Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune disease related to the thyroid. But this experience opened my eyes to the physical, mental, and nutritional challenges that others face. It has deepened my understanding of what it means to be healthy, led me to become an NTP, and an AIP certified coach, and solidified my belief of the mind/body/spirit connection. It’s a dream to be able to work with people in all the ways I do.
