AIP CERTIFIED COACH DIRECTORY

Hello! My name is Claire Murphy and I have been fascinated with what makes us truly healthy for most of my life.
With my Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry I love to dive deep into what is really going on at the deepest, cellular level. If every cell is provided with the resources and environment to thrive, then the whole person will thrive.
But health is more than chemical reactions. Lifestyle factors such as spirituality, rewarding work, movement, building stress resilience and prioritising sleep all have a huge contribution to well being.
During my 20 years as a yoga teacher I explored the Eastern approaches to well being, including appropriate movement, breath & energy expansion, mindset, and spirituality – which I define as knowing how your purpose and passions fit into the larger tapestry of life.
I have a diploma in nutritional supplementation but believe most of our nutritional needs can come from eating a nutrient dense, real food diet most of the time.
My journey of exploring human well being became personal when I was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroiditis and Vitiligo. Following the AIP approach restored my energy, mood, focus, normal weight, cholesterol levels and my general enthusiasm for life and I look forward to guiding you back to your true self as well, through both diet and lifestyle changes.
Sarah Silverman, ND Naturopathic Doctor
Portland, Oregon
USA
Hi – I’m Dr. Sarah Silverman,
As a Naturopathic Doctor, I’m passionate about sharing the benefits of healthy living and teaching patients how they can optimize their health on an individual level. Seeing my patients transform from sluggish and drained to full of life and energy is what inspires me every day!
My journey to practicing naturopathic medicine started several years ago, however as I recently began experiencing the symptoms of an autoimmune disorder myself, I decided to shift focus and help others in the same position.
After a lengthy period of high stress, I noticed that my hair began to thin and my energy levels had greatly decreased. It was then that I was tested and diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, an autoimmune thyroid disease.
Managing this condition fuels my passion for treating autoimmune disease, and determining the right nutrition and supplements to encourage a healthy gut and immune system. I have personally experienced the benefits that these changes can make, and have also witnessed positive changes in the lives of my patients.
My goal is to help you feel the best that you can!
I look forward to working with you on this health journey.
Warmly,
Sarah
