Hi, I’m Xenia! I help ambitious, career-driven women living with autoimmune hepatitis and/or IBD who are tired, exhausted, and struggling to keep up with their busy lifestyles. By working with me, you will regain your lost energy and take back control of your life so that you can feel like yourself again and create the life you dream of.
How can I be so sure? Because I have been there and done it. I went from high-achieving, thriving at my job, and living my best life to feeling like a complete failure in a matter of months.
I was constantly tired and in pain, unable to think straight, work, or simply lead a normal life. I couldn’t keep up with my life anymore and felt like the bright vision of my future had popped like a bubble.
At the time of diagnosis, I thought autoimmune hepatitis, PBC, and later Crohn’s disease were the worst things that had ever happened to me. As it turned out, they changed my life forever – but for the better! Finding out what works and helps me get my life back took years of trial and error. I started out reaching for health but I ended up finding so much more than that. Today, I can honestly say I am the happiest I have ever been.
Now I help people like you take back control over their lives and finally start feeling like themselves again so they don’t have to do it alone. If you want to know how working together could look, please email me. It would be an absolute honor to support you on your journey to better health and I cannot wait to hear from you!

Hi! I am Heidi Weiss.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Chinese from Reed College, and a master’s of Public Health in Health Education/Integrative Health from Portland State University. As a result of my lifelong interest in nutrition an movement as the foundation of health, I certified as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) and Pilates teacher in 2006.
My travels in Asia in my twenties and exploration of ancient Chinese medical texts in my undergraduate education led me to deepen these studies by exploring the field of nutritional anthropology during my master’s studies. After having children and discovering food intolerances in both myself and my children, I became more passionate about learning about and using therapeutic diets to bring about healing. I have witnessed the profound benefits of adopting the AIP diet and lifestyle in both clients and friends, and am very inspired about the potential this movement has for turning the tide of the growing incidence of auto-immune disease worldwide.
In my sessions with clients, I use a combination of motivational interviewing, manual bodywork, pressure point therapy, and intuitive energy work. My experience with evolutionary astrology, nutritional anthropology, and energy work techniques from the Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu traditions also inform my work. I offer both group classes and one-on-one nutrition sessions at my Southeast Portland Location, Lemon Tree Wellness, as well as virtual coaching worldwide.

I am Shelly Cobb, owner of Thrive Well. Years ago, over several years my husband, our 6 kids and I were all diagnosed with Celiac Disease, some with Hashimoto’s. We regained our health back through holistic nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Years later I was encouraged to become a nutritionist and personal trainer to work for one of the doctors who helped me get our health back. I went back to college and got my second master’s degree, this time in Holistic Nutrition. I have pursued various specialty certifications that center around autoimmune disease, health, wellness and exercise. I sat for 2700 hours of nutrition counseling to become a HNCB Board Certified Holistic Nutrition Professional. Later I became ANMA Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner. I am currently working on Doctorate of Health Science in Clinical Nutrition and Education. at University of Bridgeport. As a former high school teacher, I enjoy learning and pursue the latest information on health and wellness so I can best serve my clients. I personally and professionally have seen how the benefits of holistic nutrition and lifestyle can fully change a person for the better.
I enjoy working with others one on one, helping them achieve their goals – especially in regards to health and wellness. I understand both personally and professionally the daily challenges autoimmune disease can bring. I am here to offer help support, education and motivation to those who want to improve their health and well being. I offer my services in person, on the phone or over Skype. Deena Mistry Accredited Journey Practitioner and AIP Coach
Sydney,
Australia
*also practices virtually worldwide
I am an accredited Journey Practitioner and an AIP Coach from Sydney, Australia. My passion, to improve one’s health holistically, began in my 30’s.
I was in a stressful corporate role, working long hours, sleep deprived, eating mostly fast foods and partying a lot as young professionals do. I thought I was living my best life…until my health began deteriorating and brain fog and anxiety started affecting my performance and confidence. My body was crying for help! I was diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases that affected my joints, digestive system(Coeliac Disease), skin(Lichen Planus) and hair(Alopecia Areata). This was a wake-up call! I could either take immune suppressing drugs OR empower myself and make positive changes to improve my health. My gut feeling was to honour myself and listen to my body.
My quest led me to understand that the health of our cells (the building blocks of our bodies) is affected by our emotional and mental wellbeing; nutrition; lifestyle and the environment. The philosophy of cellular healing was introduced to me by Brandon Bays (www.thejourney.com) who pioneered “The Journey Method” – a profound, introspective, guided meditation, that taps into the body’s innate wisdom, and addresses the emotional distresses of life’s challenges that could be compromising our health.
As a corporate professional I was ambitious and in control of my outcomes. I was hard on myself and my own worst critic. Failure and mistakes were unacceptable. Having the autoimmune diagnosis made me feel like I had no control. The Journey meditations enabled me to address my fears, anxieties, stresses and frustrations. By tapping into my inner resources of strength, love, compassion, self-acceptance and forgiveness for myself and others, I was able to change my perspectives and priorities in life and support my body to recover.
My journey of recovery inspired me to help others who are dealing with autoimmune challenges. With empathy, emotional support, compassion and self-honouring, it is possible to regain one’s health and vitality.
