Hello! My name is Melissa and I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree is Science and AIP certified coach. I have 22 years of nursing experience in diverse clinical settings. I have been employed at a holistic functional medicine clinic for 5 years where I have learned to utilize many modalities like homeopathy, herbs, supplements, dietary modification and lifestyle changes.
My focus switched from conventional medicine to functional medicine with an emphasis on nutrition when my son was diagnosed with autism. I believe that food is medicine and that we should not just be treating symptoms, but looking to truly target the root cause of illnesses.
I understand that it can be overwhelming to know where to begin your new journey to better health and wellness. With my extensive clinical education and experience, I will develop an individualized treatment plan based on your input regarding your specific symptoms and medical history.
Please allow me to assist you in enjoying a healthier life by providing you the education, guidance and passionate support to meet your wellness goals.

I believe optimum health and disease prevention occur in large part by putting the right foods in the body. Every bit of food leads us either closer to disease or closer to health.
I want to empower others on their path to wellness, to never give up on themselves, and to believe that health and feeling good are possible.
I’m a Master Nutrition Therapist (MNT), practicing in Boulder, CO (and virtually). I also work for a leading functional medicine practitioner and am a faculty member at the Nutrition Therapy Institute. I apply a functional and holistic approach to nutrition therapies including:
· Autoimmune Nutrition
· Hormone Balance
· Food Sensitivities, Intolerances, and Allergies
· Digestive Issues, Leaky Gut, Dysbiosis
· Weight Management
· Blood Sugar Imbalances
· Anti-Aging Nutrition
I received a B.S. from Purdue University, and both my CNTP and MNT diplomas from the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver, CO.

I’m Andrea Lane, a board certified acupuncturist and herbalist. I practice a gentle, Japanese style of acupuncture that helps to guide the body back to good health. My approach to my patients’ wellness is holistic, involving dietary, exercise, and lifestyle consultation in addition to East Asian medicine.
After being diagnosed with interstitial cystitis in my early 20s, I became passionate about pursuing better health through changes to my diet and lifestyle. I encountered AIP along my journey, and am amazed at how much better I feel as a result. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to transition to AIP and navigate the diet that suits your health best, and I want to be able to support others through that process. I am happy to work with patients on their AIP diet either in the context of an acupuncture treatment protocol, or to do only nutritional and dietary consultation.
When I’m not with patients, I also work as a Pilates and GYROTONIC® trainer. In my free time, I love to cook, read my way out from a small mountain of books, and cater to my cats’ every whim.

Are you willing to be more than just ‘meh, fiiiiine…’?
Are you prepared to dig deeper into your health issues? I mean really understand the nuts-and-bolts of YOUR health ‘knots’?
Are you ready to step outside your comfort zone to find out what works (and what doesn’t) for you so as to untie these knots?
Are you okay with the idea of working on improving your current behavioral and lifestyle habits?
Do you wish to become the master of your own health? To finally be at home in your body?
If you’re ready to build an energetic, healthy future that will tilt your world on its axis, let’s connect!
Hi, I’m Shari. I’m a functional RD (living on the tiny island of Mauritius) for people who want results. And are ready to do the heavy-lifting. (Don’t worry; I keep it real – if you have a mortgage, I won’t ask you to quit your job and become a full-time knitter of tiny pirate scarves for hamsters.)
— What kind of RD am I —
I was trained as a conventional RD. Life events (read PCOS and juvenile arthritis + lots of autoimmune issues in the family) encouraged me to relearn everything. You see, implementing conventional nutrition guidelines was making me sicker. And they weren’t helping my patients.
Over the years, I have specialized in nutrition for PCOS and digestive health.
— What to expect if you work with me —
Coaching with me goes deep – we won’t just look at what you eat or how you sleep. We’ll also explore why you eat the way you do, what you’re really hungry for. We’ll get underneath the excuses to unleash the stuff that is really holding you back from becoming a healthier, happier version of yourself.
And yes, I’ll keep you accountable.
Because if you say you’re going to do something, I’ll totally check in to see if you did!
This way, with my 100% support, YOU will craft your very own health guidelines.

Sarah Silverman, ND Naturopathic Doctor
Portland, Oregon
USA
Hi – I’m Dr. Sarah Silverman,
As a Naturopathic Doctor, I’m passionate about sharing the benefits of healthy living and teaching patients how they can optimize their health on an individual level. Seeing my patients transform from sluggish and drained to full of life and energy is what inspires me every day!
My journey to practicing naturopathic medicine started several years ago, however as I recently began experiencing the symptoms of an autoimmune disorder myself, I decided to shift focus and help others in the same position.
After a lengthy period of high stress, I noticed that my hair began to thin and my energy levels had greatly decreased. It was then that I was tested and diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, an autoimmune thyroid disease.
Managing this condition fuels my passion for treating autoimmune disease, and determining the right nutrition and supplements to encourage a healthy gut and immune system. I have personally experienced the benefits that these changes can make, and have also witnessed positive changes in the lives of my patients.
My goal is to help you feel the best that you can!
I look forward to working with you on this health journey.
Warmly,
Sarah

This health journey stuff sure takes time and effort but, boy, is it worth it!
I’ve suffered with scalp psoriasis since childhood and was diagnosed with Sjogren’s Syndrome shortly after my daughter was born in 2006. I distinctly remember the wash of self-pity I felt the day my rheumatologist prescribed the medication I would need to take three times a day FOR. THE. REST. OF. MY. LIFE.
After managing and tolerating my symptoms for years, I finally decided to take a different path in 2020 and completely changed my diet – no more gluten, dairy or sugar (as well as a number of other things, some of which I’ve been able to reintroduce). Sounds like a total drag, right?? Trust me, it’s 100x better than staying on the unhealthy path. I feel great.
And now I want to help you!
I graduated from IIN (Institute for Integrative Nutrition) in 2021 and became AIP Certified in the Spring of 2022. Let’s do this!
