Greetings! I am Margarita, a health sciences specialist and a functional nutritionist.
Nutrition and lifestyle are similar to programming. They can “program” your body, this amazing biosystem, for health and longevity or for disease and death. I am grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside people who want to discover how they can take control of their health and quality of life through the modifiable factors: rest and relaxation, sleep, nutrition, physical activity, and social connections.
My approach is based on 3 Ps:
*personalization – we all are different and we need different approaches
*primary cause – working with the root / primary cause, not the symptoms
*partnership – we work together with shared responsibility

My particular areas of interest are digestive health, autoimmune thyroiditis, and chronic inflammation.

I am fluent in Russian, Lithuanian, and English

I use an integrative approach to health and wellness by focusing on not just food, but all areas of life. I believe in creating integrated health and wellness plans which blend sleep optimization, stress management, gut health, biomarkers, genetics, dietary analysis and more to help transform my client’s health.

I have a health coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I am an AutoImmune Protocol coach, and I hold a Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Human performance from Logan University. I also have a BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland. I bring not only years of schooling to my practice, but the knowledge of what it’s like to be a patient as well. As a former chronic illness patient myself, I understand what it feels like to struggle with health.

My practice is fully virtual. It is my mission to help others navigate the confusing world of health and wellness and take back their health.

I’m a registered Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach that aims to help people feel like the best version on themselves!

I have lived with close family members struggling with autoimmune conditions for many years, and I wanted to help. After extensive research I learnt about the power of diet and lifestyle interventions, so I trained at a Nutritional Therapist with the highly regarded Institute for Optimum Nutrition, and now have my own clinic supporting others through their autoimmune journey.

I am available for face to face and online consultations, and offer a warm, friendly and non-judgemental approach. As a busy parent, I understand the challenges of day to day life, as well as trying to manage an autoimmune condition, so I aim to make life feel a little easier with a collaborative approach.

One size doesn’t fit all, so everything I do is bespoke to each individual. Please feel free to get in touch if you’d like to discuss your own autoimmune journey, and how I can support you to feel like the best version of you.

I’m passionate about using nutrition as a tool to help improve health, so I became a Nutritional Therapy Consultant certified through the Nutritional Therapy Association. In addition, the Autoimmune Protocol has been instrumental in helping to manage my own health issues, and I’m excited to assist others in reaching their health goals through implementation of this program. I’m also a health coach for the online program, SAD to AIP in SIX.

The journey to vibrant health starts with your decision to take control of your health by making it your priority. It is achievable by providing clarity and support, faith in the process, consistency, and lots of love and tenderness for yourself.

This is a lifelong journey so the goal is to enjoy it and set yourself up for success by :

-falling in love with the idea of discovering and regaining your power and living your true self, so that every step becomes a victory.

-adopting your unique formula that nourishes your body, mind, and soul.

-finding and creating support within and around you as a solid foundation for your journey.

I have learned and adopted this holistic approach after 5 years of searching for solutions to many autoimmune issues in my family and the AIP Protocol is its basis.

Being an analytical and open-minded person with a pharmaceutical degree, I couldn’t accept the option that the root cause of those issues is unknown and that there is a one-size-fits-all approach.

Realizing how much benefit this experience brought to my family, I became passionate about spreading it further as a health and lifestyle coach.

My name is Jelena and I’m here to help you to develop a mindful approach to your body by following its rhythm and needs with understanding so that you can make healthy choices that support your body, mind, and soul.

Are you struggling with symptoms caused by an underlying inflammatory or autoimmune condition? Do you experience pain, fatigue, or digestive challenges? Are you finding that your quality of life just isn’t what it used to be? Autoimmune conditions can be extremely challenging, and unfortunately adjusting your diet is usually not part of the “typical” treatment plan. In my work with clients who have autoimmune conditions, I help them implement a personalized nutrition roadmap designed to improve mobility, concentration and energy levels to ultimately live a vibrant and fulfilling life. I take a scientific and evidence based approach with all of my clients, and offer additional testing such as food sensitivity, gut health and micronutrient deficiencies to create an individualized nutrition plan to promote healing and symptom management.

Autoimmune conditions run in my family, so it was not a surprise when I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in my late 20’s. I was so overwhelmed with my diagnosis that I didn’t even think to consider how my diet and lifestyle could help me heal. Years later, I started to learn about the connection between diet, lifestyle, inflammation and autoimmune disease. When I made my own changes and saw an incredible improvement in my symptoms, I felt that I had to share my knowledge with others going through the same thing.

I have a Masters of Science in Nutritional Science and completed my Dietetic Internship at Stanford Health Care. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and a Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT).

Were you or a member of your family recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and told to just eat gluten free? It’s not that easy! I’m here to help you navigate gluten-free living in all aspects of life and not feel so overwhelmed.

My name is Megan Harnish and I’m a health educator and personally live with autoimmune disease. After my elementary age son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease I became passionate about understanding as much as I could about nutrition, autoimmune disease and the role diet plays in the way the body functions. I learned how food sensitivities, the microbiome, and intestinal permeability contribute to the development of autoimmune disease and other chronic health conditions. Between my education, lived experience & being the parent to a gluten free child I can help make gluten-free life easier for you. Regardless of the reason you choose to live gluten-free I can give you the tools you need to help during the transition period and in the months to years following. I understand the psychosocial impacts of the gluten free diet on children and how it affects every aspect of their lives. I offer a free consultation to learn more about your needs and how I can help.
